Australia 2015
In February 2015 we had our fabulous Big Holiday – over 9 weeks in New Zealand and Australia with a short stop-off in Singapore.
We flew into Melbourne from New Zealand to stay with Norah & Max for a little over a week. We then flew to Sydney. A very different city to Melbourne. We loved both of them in different ways. We spent a couple of days in the nearby Blue Mountains enjoying the scenery and walks before flying into the Red Centre, where it really was very hot. Ayers Rock did not disappoint. We then flew to Cairns to pick up a car for the final leg of our journey – the 1,500 mile drive down the Queensland coast to Mount Tamborine where we ended our trip at Carrie & Roger’s. A fabulous holiday with many great memories!
