Brussels 2001
Please Note: I have created these pages some 6 years after the holiday and all the photos were taken by Ann with her 35mm camera & the prints scanned, hence the quality of the photos is not as good as with some of our other holidays.
In March 2001 a long weekend in Brussels proved rather chilly. The beer & chocolates were the most memorable parts of the weekend. Brussels has some quaint buildings, such as the Town Hall in Le Grand Place, but otherwise a very “grey” city.
Le Grand Place
The flamboyant Town Hall dominates the central Le Grand Place – the main tourist draw of the city.

And of course there is Manneken Pis nearby.
