Battersea Power Station

What do you do with a disused power station on the banks of the Thames in central London? You can’t tear it down if it’s listed! There are two in London. One in Bankside & the other in Battersea. OK so you turn one – Bankside – into Tate Modern. The other in Battersea? I remember it being a desolate site after it was decommissioned in 1983. Well a few Malaysian investors in 2022 turned it into a multi-use site. There is now a buzz to the area with a large shopping complex inside as well as a hotel, offices & apartments and even a viewing platform atop of one of the towers.
