We spent a nice weekend in October 2013 exploring the Lake District. First off, Carron Crag walk & Grizdale Forest. After that it was a visit to Hill Top Farm, where Beatrix Potter wrote many of her stories.

The second day it was Claife Heights and Latterbarrow walks which are are two of Alfred Wainwright’s Outlying Fells of Lakeland.
