Melmerby 2022

In August 2022 we stayed in the charming Gallon cottage in Melmerby in the Eden Valley in Cumbria. A good base for great walks with fantastic views.

The stone circle of Long Meg and her Daughters is worth a trek – one of the largest neolithic sites in the UK.
