The Milford Road
Easily the most memorable drive of the holiday. Not just dramatic scenery, but low clouds swirling round the mountains at different heights. We felt privileged to be in the grip of raw, powerful nature.
Mirror Lakes

The first view of Mitre Peak at Milford Sound looked too artificial to be real. Another film set?
The overcast day added to the atmosphere of the place. Ready for our overnight cruise on the sound & also to get away from the annoying midges!
