You don't realise how vast the Forbidden City is until you have been walking for a while and realise that you still haven't reached the inner private areas of the Emperors.
It is so large, yet so busy. It was impossible to get a photo of just me at this gateway without others going by.
There were really massive goldfish in this pond.
A lot of the treasures within the Forbidden City were looted by the Japanese in WWII and the Nationalist forces. However some objects like this giant incense burner remain as they are too large to move.
