State Circus Acrobatic Show
We saw a fabulous acrobatic show put on by the State Circus on our first night. Any one of the acts would have been top billing in a circus back home. At the end, one of the cute child performers was giving out postcards, while standing next to a collection box. I got the idea tipping was a significant part of their income.
These performers were balancing and then “heading” the vases to each other. They must have had very strong necks as they looked a lot heavier than footballs.
The photos below show two poor little girls being spun round at great speed and then tossed between the two performers lying on their backs. The photo on the right below, shows the moment the two little girls were “caught” after being juggled between the performers. Painful!
This acrobat was rolling round while balancing all these glasses off different parts of her anatomy.
