At My Son are the remains of the Champa Hindu Temples built between the 4th to 14th Centuries. The Temple complex is dedicated to Shiva.

My Son is perhaps the longest inhabited archaeological site in Indochina, but a large majority of its architecture was destroyed by US carpet bombing during a single week of the Vietnam War. If it weren't for this act of vandalism, this complex would rank with that at Angkor as one of the most interesting ancient religious sites in the world.

The area is split up into temple groups, called Group A through to Group H. You would have thought the marketing department of the local Tourist office could have come up with more imaginative names.
