Happy Buddha

The Vinh Trang Buddhist Temple is the big local draw with a couple of enormous white Buddhas on the outside. Blinding in the bright sunshine. Inside the Temple it is very dark and atmospheric. There are several monk’s cells adjoining the main worshipping space – recollections of San Marco in Florence.
