Kai Dinh Tomb
Completed in 1931 this Tomb complex is a mix of Vietnamese & Western styles – particularly French. In other words a hideous architectural mixture. Again built at great expense that the country could hardly afford.
The palace at the top of the hill is sumptuously decorated inside with elaborate porcelain. All the photos of the emperor & his royal family show a very miserable set of people – not a hint of warmth let alone a smile.
