Queensland
A big part of our Australia holiday was the 3 week drive down the Bruce Highway through Queensland. We hired a car in Trinity Beach (just north of Cairns) and drove 1,500 miles down to Mount Tamborine, south of Brisbane. This was one of the most memorable & enjoyable road trips we have ever taken. It was fabulous!
It took a lot of careful planning but was well worth it. Each of the places we stayed at was distinct and memorable for different reasons. Which place did we like best? Impossible to say.
