Opened in 2002, the Franjo Tudman Bridge spans the entrance to the Rijeka Dubrovacka Inlet and is an impressive slender bridge.
Dubrovnik's main harbour. Obviously the one in the Old City can't cope with the volume of shipping, nor the ocean going liners.
The far end of the Inlet. The Ragusan nobility used to have their Summer villas here. Unfortunately none now remain.
One of the old estates has now been turned into a yachting marina.
The Franciscan monastery at Rozat is dwarfed by the mountains surrounding the inlet which make for some fine views.
