I usually find the architecture of religious buildings fascinating and pay due respect when I am inside them. However in this, the main Temple of the Cao Dai religion, I just could not take it seriously. Caodaism is an amalgam of religions mixing Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity & others.
If you think the outside of the building looks like a mish-mash of architectural styles, the inside is worse. It certainly had a Wow-factor - being decked out in pastel colours. It reminded me of the Hansel & Gretel fairytale - was all this edible?
