Okaukuejo Camp in Etosha
This Camp was by a natural waterhole which attracted game all day & all night. We loved being here. We saw a large variety of wild animals in the Etosha National Park, which is the size of Wales.
Ooooops – wrong T-shirt!
It was sometimes very crowded at the waterholes which made for great wildlife viewing.

Best not to get too near the lions, though they are not very active in the daytime ……
….. just as well – we had two punctures in Etosha. Luckily there were no hungry lions nearby. Punctures are common in Etosha, as there are no roads, only rough tracks. Notice the two spare wheels in our vehicle.

Spectacular views from this high rock on the left in Kamanjab – in fact spectacular views everywhere.

Left is our hut in Hobatare Lodge. Below is a group meal in Etosha. After we finished we noticed hyena wandering round looking for scraps. I did wonder that if hyena could enter our Okaukuejo Camp, then what about the lions.

I liked the sign on Independence Street in the capital Windhoek.
