A Different Road Sign – Cheesy….
A visit to a traditional Berber home was fun. These houses were linked by secret underground tunnels, accessed from under the beds (as shown below). Apparently for defensive purposes – but I wonder if also for romantic assignations?…..



A Camel Ride on a blisteringly hot day was a bit of an ordeal – but has to be enjoyed!

An entertaining desert excursion included a visit to the Star Wars location set
Douz Livestock Market with locals going about their necessary business, tolerating tourists.
