The Bardo Museum contains one of the world’s most extensive collection of Roman mosaics. Unfortunately when we visited a lot of it was closed for renovation. Also the mosaics were mostly displayed vertically on walls, when (obviously) they were created to be seen on floors (horizontally). Thus the pleasure of walking round them is replaced by the discomfort of twisting your head round to get the full 360 degree view.
