Wieskirche

A UNESCO World Heritage building. The White Church, Wieskirche, was built in the mid 18th century to cater for the growing number of pilgrims who came to see the “weeping” statue of the scourged Saviour.
This is a magnificent example of a traditional Germanic rococo style church. It has an unusual oval plan for the main body of the church.
