Delphi was considered by the ancient Greeks as the centre of the world with its Pythian Oracle to be consulted before any major undertakings.
A stunning location in the foothills of of Mount Parnassus. Again one of the most important sites in classical Greece almost deserted except for us. The fact that it was blisteringly hot might have had something to do with it.
The start of the Sacred Way which wound its way round to the summit.
