Greece 2000 – Corinth

The Canal, making the Peloponnese an island.
Greece Photos:

The Temple of Apollo.

Another blisteringly hot day & very little shade among the ruins.
The market area, the Agora, with the Temple of Apollo in the background.
Eleanor making use of the supports from John & Mark.

Acrocorinth is a fortress built on the hill overlooking Corinth. Most of what you see now was built by the Crusaders and as such is one of the most important medieval castle sites in Greece
You can see the dominating position of the fortress over Corinth & the canal in the background.

Relaxing on the final night at one of our favourite Naplion restaurants. Note the sunburn!
