A pleasant square by the old port area of Havana.
Because of the 16th Century Franciscan Basilica's great acoustics, it is now a concert hall. Maybe that is why there is this seated bronze of Chopin in the square.
Which other capital city would you find a bronze of a tramp? Apparently a gregarious and educated figure who lost his mind in later years and is buried in the Basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asis. Touching his beard, finger & foot is supposed to give students "Good Luck" in exams.
The Lonja del Comercio was the old Stock Exchange. Not much call for such buildings in a Communist society, so it is now used as prestigious offices by some foreign companies.
